Released in 2007, "Favorite Worst Nightmare" or (F.W.N.) was just as if not more successful than the band's first album with its ambitious sound, selling over 227,000 copies. This was the first album with member and bass player Nick O'Malley. Compared to their first album, FWN truly has a different sound with fast and midly aggressive songs like "Brainstorm", "Balaclava", and "D is For Dangerous".
After its release, FWN became number 7 on the Billboard 200 and has gone platinum three times in the Uk and its singles, "Brianstorm" and Fluorescent Adolescent" reached top hits in the UK Albums Chart.
