This multimodal assignment's nature was to create a narrative (fictional or otherwise) that uses many elements like images or sound. I mainly used images, but I also weaved a game throughout my whole website. I’m not sure if that counts as a form of media, but I think it’s quite fun.

I struggled to find good ideas for this project. I started being intimidated by having to write a 1000-word story. Some ideas I came up with were making a story about bugs, possibly my bug characters (Zed the Worm and his friends), or telling stories my dad had told me. I’ve had ideas for retelling my dad’s stories long before this project, but when Will mentioned it could be a personal story, I had a great idea. I would tell my life by the movies I’ve watched.

I had quite a few challenges with this project. The first was dealing with AI. As an artist, I’m against using AI because I know it steals work without permission, and I don’t feel right using it. However, this is just code, it’s one of the things ChatGPT should be used for. So, I had to jump that ethical block to make the project look how I wanted it to look. I used ChatGPT to make the vertical navigation bar and found a YouTube video on how to make the hamburger menu work in mobile.
