Middle school was full of more animated and good family films, with a little more murder than childhood. Some notable films from this time are That Thing You Do, Song of the Sea, and Ready Player One. That thing you do is a movie I can always watch when I don’t know what to watch. I love Tom Hanks's role in the film and my favorite character is Guy because I played percussion.

Song of the Sea really impacted me because of it’s animation. I adored the style it was drawn in and it made me really want to become an animator. I looked up the studio a while back and I hope to be a storyboard artist for them one day.

Ready Player One was wonderful because it looked like magic to me. A world where everyone lives in a virtual world and can do nearly anything? Sign me up! I also loved the mystery of the keys and the ending really stuck with me because it’s true, reality is the only thing that’s real.
