Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add almond extract and eggs, beat well. Add sifted ingredients and almonds. Mix well. Chill. Roll dough about ½” thick. Cut with crescent shaped cutter. Place about 2” apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bate at 350* for 8-10 min. Remove cookies and cool on racks.
